Lynden Companies Earn Another Green Star in Alaska

Lynden Transport and Lynden Air Cargo recently completed a joint move with a customer to transport a generator valued at $1 million from Kenai to an oil field near Prudhoe Bay. The photo was taken on the tarmac at the Kenai Airport and shows a winch being used to secure the generator onto the plane.
The Alaska Airlines board of directors has elected three new company officers: Constance von Muehlen, senior vice president of maintenance and engineering; Ron Calvin, vice president of inflight; and Jenny Wetzel, vice president of labor relations.
Alaska Air Group Inc. reported December and full-year operational results on a consolidated basis, for its mainline operations operated by subsidiaries Alaska Airlines Inc. and for its regional flying operated by subsidiary Horizon Air Industries Inc. and third-party regional carriers SkyWest Airlines and Peninsula Airlines.
One of the state’s major aviation success stories, Alaska Airlines, acquired Virgin America and, in January, received its single operating certificate from the FAA.
