Anchorage Economic Development Corporation (AEDC) brought aboard Jenna Wright as Vice President, responsible for managing and supporting strategies, programs, and initiatives that foster a diverse, prosperous, and sustainable Anchorage economy.

Wright earned bachelor’s degrees in marketing and investment finance from UAA in 2010. She returned to UAA to earn an MBA with an emphasis in business intelligence and data analytics.

Prior to joining AEDC, Wright served the State of Alaska as deputy director of the Division of Motor Vehicles, where she led a modernization initiative and oversaw an operating budget of $17 million.

“I couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome Jenna Wright to our team in a leadership role,” says AEDC President and CEO Bill Popp. “Her education and skillset make her an incredibly valuable addition to our staff, and I’m excited by how this will expand AEDC’s capabilities to support Anchorage’s economy.”
