MBA Consulting Engineers, an Eagle River-based firm specializing in mechanical and electrical design, construction, testing, and inspection, brings aboard Beau Counts as a Senior Electrical Engineer.

Counts is credited with taking on a wide range of projects and is committed to providing top quality work for every client. The new position prepares Counts to step up as Chief Electrical Engineer when Edward W. Carlson retires from the firm in a few years.

Counts is a US Army veteran and a graduate of Montana State University. He is a licensed professional engineer and a registered communications distribution designer, certified with expertise in data infrastructure.

When he’s not working, Counts enjoys being outdoors with his family engaging in a variety of activities.

The Alaska Native special section also visits Kodiak and the handful of corporations benefiting that region, and looks back over fifty years of ANCSA corporation history and how the corporations have built, maintained, and strengthened communications and relationships with their shareholders.
