The Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority board of trustees directed $650,000 in funds for two Anchorage housing projects. Trustees approved $150,000 for RurAL CAP’s Sitka Place, and $500,000 for the United Way of Anchorage’s Anchored Home Pay for Success project.

As part of its effort to help cultivate Alaska’s next generation of leaders, GCI has committed $100,000 to the next round of its statewide scholarship program. . Fifty students will each receive a $2,000 scholarship for the 2019-20 academic year. Funds from the GCI Scholarship Program can be used for tuition and books.
