Northrim Chairman, President, and CEO Joe Schierhorn is pleased to announce new hires and promotions of the following individuals:

  • Kevin Tillotson–SVP, Regional Market Manager
  • Steve Manley–VP, Loan Officer
  • Rena Dalman–AVP, Treasury Management Business Banker
  • Paul Dombroski–AVP, Loan Officer
  • Lloyd Malpaya–Assistant Branch Manager, Jewel Lake Branch
  • Edwin Strupulis–Assistant Branch Manager, Float Pool
  • Katie Bender–VP, Community & Public Relations Manager
  • Danicia Shiryayev–VP, Commercial Loan Officer

Tillotson comes to Northrim with thirty-three years in the financial industry. He holds bachelor of science in finance from Arizona State University. Tillotson has been involved in the Juneau Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Juneau Rotary, Building Owners and Managers Association, and the Alaska Travel Industry Association.

Manley joins Northrim with ten years of experience in banking. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from UAA. A lifelong resident of Soldotna, Manley serves on the board of the Kenai Peninsula Food Bank and was a past president. He also served on the boards of the Soldotna Chamber of Commerce and Central Peninsula Hospital.

Dalman brings ten years of experience in banking with her in her new role at Northrim. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado. Dalman is a member of the events committee for the Greater Juneau Chamber of Commerce.

Dombroski comes to Northrim with more than twenty years of commercial banking experience throughout the Matanuska-Susitna Borough. He currently serves on two boards: The Children’s Place and Alaska Rural Rehabilitation Corporation. Dombroski also volunteers for Susitna Rotary’s Josh the Otter program.

Malpaya joins the Jewel Lake Branch with nearly nine years of experience in the financial industry. He holds certification to issue auto and home insurance through SafeCo.

Strupulis has been with Northrim since October 2020 and has five years of experience in banking. He is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business administration at UAA. Strupulis volunteers with Food for Kids and Junior Achievement of Alaska.

Bender has been with Northrim since 2013 and has more than seventeen years of experience in communications and public relations. She holds a master’s of public administration from UAA. Bender is the president of the UAA Alumni Association Board of Directors and treasurer of the Public Relations Society of America, Alaska Chapter.

Shiryayev joined Northrim in 2016 and has more than twelve years of experience in the banking industry. She is pursuing a bachelor’s of business with an emphasis in accounting at UAS. Shiryayev is a board member of the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce and is an Advisory Board member of for the Salvation Army.
