Right Moves with Fliss

Margo Fliss recently became the third certified Strategic Doing Workshop Instructor in Alaska. As the Manager of Strategic Engagement at the University of Alaska Center for Economic Development (UA CED), Fliss regularly leads planning sessions for clients across the state. Strategic Doing enables leaders to design and guide new networks that generate innovative solutions. A new strategy discipline, it teaches people how to form collaborations quickly, move them toward measurable outcomes, and make adjustments along the way. Fliss holds a master’s in public policy from Mills College and a bachelor’s in political science and government from UAF. She earned her “Foundations in Design Thinking” certification from IDEO in 2018, and currently serves on the boards of the University Economic Development Association and thread.
