Credit Union 1 Promotes Friction Free Finance Manager

Anchorage, AK — July 30, 2019 — Credit Union 1 (CU1) announced the promotion of Kelly Smith to Friction Free Finance Manager. Originally hired in 2005, Smith began as a CU1 teller and later held numerous positions such as member service officer, branch manager, regional branch manager and roaming branch manager, the position he held prior to this promotion.

In his new position, Smith will be responsible for continuing to expand the credit union’s unique Friction Free Finance program as new dealerships are added that fit the organization’s “people first” values. He will work to ensure CU1 members and new members receive the very best experience and service from Credit Union 1.
