State of the State

Jan 24, 2019 | Government, Monitor

Governor Mike Dunleavy delivered his first State of the State address since being sworn into office on January 22. In his half-hour speech, the governor reiterated several campaign promises including a reduction in crime, protecting the Permanent Fund Dividend (and providing PFD back-pay to state residents), and instituting a balanced budget. This week we present Governor Dunleavy’s first State of the State address.

Alaska Native regional, village, and urban corporations operate in every industry all around the state, often in regions that don’t attract attention from other corporations.
