Members Making Change Drive Raises More than $123,000

Jul 29, 2019 | Transportation

ANCHORAGE—The Alaska USA Foundation launched the sixth annual Members Making Change donation drive, both online and in Alaska USA Federal Credit Union branches.

The drive raised more than $123,000 from the generous donations of Alaska USA members and employees. This was the second year Alaska USA employees joined in the fundraising efforts through a voluntary payroll deduction, donating $71,700 of the total raised. The Alaska USA Foundation will use the collected funds to assist nonprofit organizations that provide needs-based programs that benefit children, veterans, and active duty military and their families in the communities the credit union serves.

“This year the Alaska USA Foundation completed an amazing milestone, surpassing more than $2 million distributed to charitable organizations,” said Dan McCue, executive director, Alaska USA Foundation. “This wouldn’t be possible without the incredible generosity of Alaska USA members and employees.”
