The brokerage formed last fall under Aleut Real Estate continues to staff up by hiring an experienced Alaskan broker. Natalie Travers-Smyre joins the Tayal Brokerage team as an Associate Broker in Anchorage with thirty-seven years in the real estate industry.

Since earning her real estate license in 1988, Travers-Smyre has worked in brokerage management, homeowner association oversight, residential land development, new construction sales, and dispute resolution. Most recently with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Alaska Realty, she spent more than a decade in brokerage leadership roles and is widely respected for her strategic approach, client-focused mindset, and commitment to mentoring emerging professionals in the field.

Outside of her professional accomplishments, Travers-Smyre enjoys mushing her team of Siberian huskies.

Aleut Real Estate, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Alaska Native regional corporation Aleut, works with Tayal Brokerage to acquire, invest in, and manage properties. Tayal Brokerage specializes in property management, consulting, and investment strategy.

In addition to honoring these companies, the Corporate 100 special section also looks at the most common occupations in Alaska; how workplaces can accommodate their employees experiencing a range of challenges and disabilities; and how the implementation of AI is changing workplaces. Also in this issue: new leaders in the healthcare industry, a resurgence in physical film, and the merger that created Contango Silver & Gold. Enjoy!
