Wilson Albers Appoints Jennifer Bundy-Cobb as Managing Partner

Jan 14, 2022 | Professional Services, Right Moves

Jennifer Bundy-Cobb

Wilson Albers, an affiliate of human resources management firm Alera Group, has a new Managing Partner for the first time in twenty-six years. Jennifer Bundy-Cobb takes over for Lon Wilson, who co-founded the partnership in 1995. Bundy-Cobb has also been with the firm since the beginning.

Since joining Wilson Albers in 1995, Bundy-Cobb has served in various roles, most recently as the director of employee benefits. Bundy-Cobb’s other work includes a term as board president of the Alaska Association of Health Underwriters and board chair for Anchorage Community Health Services in 2012 when they opened their new building. She is currently the resource development chair for Anchorage Project Access Board. Most recently, she has come full circle as a board member for Alaska Youth Orchestras, where she played the French Horn as a teenager.

“Jennifer has been integral to our success as an organization,” says Lon Wilson, “and I look forward to seeing how she continues Wilson Albers’ legacy of service, excellence, and integrity as we continue to grow.”

Wilson is transitioning his leadership responsibilities over the coming months and supporting Alera group as needed in the region. The Wilson Albers team focuses on helping clients solve complex problems around employee benefits, human resource services, retirement plan management, and business insurance.

“As Managing Partner, I am excited to continue to expand Wilson Albers’ resources and solutions to continue to meet the needs of our clients throughout the country,” says Bundy-Cobb. “The Wilson Albers team has deep industry expertise and is known for outstanding service, and we will keep building on that reputation in the years ahead.”

Along with a new managing partner, Wilson Albers is promoting Thomas Showalter to Head of Client Engagement, in charge of consolidated employee benefits, retirement plans, and human resource services.
