The only “Big Four” accounting firm with a presence in Alaska, KPMG, hired Josh McIntyre as Tax Senior Manager in Anchorage.

McIntyre brings more than twenty years of professional experience in Alaska and deep ties to the state’s business community. He spent a decade in the North Slope oil and gas industry, serving in leadership roles including CFO of US subsidiaries for Pantheon Resources/Great Bear Petroleum and group financial controller of Pantheon Resources, a UK publicly listed company.

Before that, McIntyre was a senior manager at BDO, where he provided audit, tax, and consulting services to organizations across a range of sectors. He has also been active in the accounting profession and local community, serving as chair of the Alaska Society of CPAs, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants governing council, and an adjunct instructor at UAA, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting.
