Altman, Rogers & Co. Promotes New Chief Operating Officer

Alaska’s largest locally owned accounting firm promoted Heather Savery to the role of Chief Operating Officer. In this position, Savery works with the leadership team of Altman, Rogers & Co. on strategy and execution with a focus on the firm’s employee engagement and support initiatives. She will continue to be involved with the day-to-day operations.

“It is my extreme pleasure to announce Heather’s promotion to our COO,” says CEO Grant Todd. “She has been instrumental to the firm’s growth. We are excited to continue to utilize her unique skill set to help empower employees and to maximize our Alaskan presence through our full portfolio of services.”

Savery previously served as the firm’s administrator, overseeing finance, administration, and public relations. She also held accounting leadership roles in the areas of aviation, nonprofits, and government contracting.

“For the past seven years, I have been privileged to participate in the firm’s development and growth through some significant changes, not only in Alaska but the world. It is our staff who are responsible for our success, and it is my commitment to them to ensure they have an expanded role in the future of the firm,” Savery says.
