CHARR Promotes Erickson to President and CEO

An industry association for hospitality businesses in Alaska has a new boss. The Alaska Cabaret, Hotel, Restaurant and Retailers Association (CHARR) appointed BreeAnna Erickson as President and CEO.
Since joining CHARR in 2019, Erickson has served in several key capacities, including ProStart Coordinator, Workforce Development Director, and Operations Director. In those positions, she led statewide training initiatives, expanded apprenticeship and workforce pathways, strengthened grant programs, and built systems that support both CHARR’s internal operations and the members it serves.
Erickson brings more than a decade of leadership experience in workforce development, operations, and hospitality service, supported by a bachelor’s degree in business management from Western Governors University. Her background combines on-the-ground industry familiarity with strong organizational strategy and operational discipline.
