The Anchorage Community Development Authority (ACDA) appointed Chad Stovall as its new Development Director. In this role, Stovall is responsible for land development strategy, housing and economic growth initiatives, and projects that align with the municipal corporation’s mission to create a vibrant and prosperous Anchorage.

Stovall brings more than eighteen years of experience in federal, state, and community development leadership to this role. He most recently served as the Alaska Field Office Director for the US Department of Housing and Urban Development, where he managed more than $700 million in annual appropriations and led efforts to strengthen housing and infrastructure initiatives statewide. During his tenure, he was nationally recognized for launching groundbreaking projects, including the Team Alaska expeditionary 3D concrete printer showcased at the 2024 Innovative Housing Showcase in Washington, DC.

“Chad’s deep understanding of Alaska’s development landscape, combined with his proven leadership in housing and infrastructure, will be a tremendous asset to ACDA,” says ACDA Executive Director Mike Robbins. “His vision and experience will strengthen our efforts to expand housing opportunities and accelerate revitalization projects that benefit all of Anchorage.”
