Promotions for PND Engineers’ Newest PEs

Two members of the PND Engineers team joined the ranks of Professional Engineers licensed by the State of Alaska. Passage of the Principles and Practice of Engineering exam comes with promotions at the firm.

Obadiah Dawson

Now a Senior Engineer, Obadiah Dawson has worked with PND since graduating from UAA in 2020 with a degree in civil engineering. In his five years of experience, he has been primarily involved in bridge, marine, and building structural design. Dawson performs gravity and lateral design for existing and new structures in regions containing large seismic, wind, and snow loads. He has experience analyzing and designing structures consisting of timber, reinforced concrete, aluminum, light-gauge steel, and structural steel materials. He is also a certified Level I rope access technician.

Owen Rohler

Now a Senior Engineer at the Palmer office, Owen Rohler began working with PND in 2020 while completing his civil engineering degree at UAA. Rohler is primarily involved in transportation engineering and projects involving site design, utilities, roadways, and culvert replacements. He has provided civil engineering on several road design and culvert replacement projects throughout Southcentral and in the Pacific Northwest. Rohler is also an Alaska-certified erosion and sediment control lead.
