Coffman Engineers Names New General Manager for Anchorage

The Anchorage office of multidiscipline consulting engineering firm Coffman Engineers has a new General Manager. Ben Momblow is promoted to the position, succeeding Tom Looney.
With more than two decades of experience at Coffman, Momblow has served as a principal, project manager, and director with the firm. Looney, an electrical engineer in charge of the Anchorage office for the last eight years, will continue to support Momblow and other projects in the Alaska region.
Momblow, raised in Eagle River, is a professional engineer with extensive experience in civil and structural engineering. In addition to working with Alaska clients, he has supported development of the firm’s Honolulu and Guam offices. His career ranges from detailed design and market development to mentoring colleagues and managing multidiscipline projects.
Looney says, “Ben Momblow is a natural leader who is passionate about building strong relationships with those around him, including clients, partners, and employees. At the same time Coffman named a new leader at its Anchorage office, Jeff Mitchell became the new General Manager in Spokane, Washington. “Ben Momblow and Jeff Mitchell are remarkable leaders and individuals.
