Huna Totem Corporation named Erica Drahozal as its new Director of Sustainability. In this newly created position, Drahozal is responsible for environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures across the entire village corporation.

Drahozal performed a similar role for Huna Totem’s cruise destination Icy Strait Point (ISP). For five years, she played a key role in advancing public health policies, workplace safety, and environmental conservation initiatives. Before joining ISP, she served as the health, safety, and environmental officer for Norwegian Cruise Line’s private island destination Harvest Caye in Belize. In that role, she built a highly regarded environmental safety program and managed public health programs, developed safety training, and collaborated with the Belizean government to protect sea turtles, manatees, and other wildlife.

Beyond her civilian career, Drahozal served in a civil affairs brigade for the US Army. She supported military personnel management and deployment operations in Djibouti, strengthening her skills in crisis response, emergency planning, and leadership.
