Submerge yourself in the study of echinoderms—sea urchins, sea stars, brittle stars, sea cucumbers, and feather stars—at the North American Echinoderm Conference at UAS in July. UAS faculty members Nicole Nakata and Julie Schram will host the conference, which will include an icebreaker reception on Monday, presentations from leaders in the field, a poster session, a closing banquet, and a Saturday field trip to go tide pooling in Auke Bay.
