Wildlife Trooper Joins Denali Universal Services as Security Director

Denali Universal Services (DUS) added Bernard Chastain to its executive team as a Security Director. In that role, Chastain collaborates directly with clients and DUS personnel to meet security needs and contract expectations.
Chastain began his career as an Alaska Wildlife Trooper in Soldotna and Glennallen. He was steadily promoted through the ranks of sergeant, lieutenant, and operations captain over the next fifteen years.
As deputy director of the Alaska Wildlife Troopers from 2015 to 2020, and later of the Alaska State Troopers, Chastain managed recruitment, training, vehicle programs, and budgets. In 2023, he was promoted to colonel and director of the Alaska Wildlife Troopers.

DUS provides food service, catering, facilities support, and full-spectrum security for private and public sector clients. The Security Director is part of the DUS leadership team in developing strategies, implementing policies, and conducting the business goals and objectives of the DUS Security Division. Directors are also responsible for the successful operation of multiple security contracts.
