Altman, Rogers & Co.

Altman, Rogers & Co., Alaska’s largest locally owned certified public accounting firm, added an eighth Shareholder to its ownership group.

Katie Stachow, the senior audit manager at the firm’s Anchorage office, received the promotion effective January 1, 2024. She has been with Altman, Rogers & Co. since 2009.

“The way it has grown, allowing us to increase our ability to serve our community and state, has been amazing. I am really excited for the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of our founding female partner, Karen Rogers, and am proud to continue to carry the torch of female leadership in our firm,” Stachow says.

Stachow earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and public administration from Carroll College in Montana. She is a certified public accountant and is certified as Advanced in Federal Single Audits by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She also serves on the finance council for the Archdiocese of Anchorage and on the board of Alaska Birth Collective, a nonprofit resource for prenatal, delivery, and post-partum care.

“It is with great pleasure that I announce that Katie Stachow has been promoted to Principal and Shareholder of Altman, Rogers & Co., CPAs,” says CEO Grant Todd. “Katie has been an invaluable part of our team for the past fourteen years and has been vital to our continued growth and success. She has worked extremely hard for this promotion, and I am excited for her future with the firm.”
