Right Moves with Reed

Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits (Southern Glazer’s) announced its appointment of Christina Reed to the role of Vice President & General Manager of Alaska. Reed is now responsible for leading all sales activities for Alaska, including formulating overall strategy, managing and developing people, and establishing policies for the market.

“Christina brings to the role 18 years of deep-seated experience in the wine and spirits industry,” said John Klein, Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Pacific Northwest, Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits. “No one knows the market better than she does, working her way up the ladder over the course of her impressive 16-year-career at the Odom Corporation and Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits in the state of Alaska. Her expertise and impeccable ability to lead has positioned her exceptionally well to continue building upon the success in the state.”

During her career with the Odom Corporation and Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits, Reed has held multiple positions of increasing responsibility, beginning as a sales representative in 2005, becoming a district sales manager for the Northwest Division in 2014, and most recently, leading the Northwest Division as the general sales manager. Prior to her time at Southern Glazer’s, Reed worked at Alaska Distributors, where she got her start as a courier and worked her way up to positions in merchandising and sales.
