Alaska USA Announces New Executive Director of Consumer Lending

ANCHORAGE—Chris Brown has been selected to fill the position of Executive Director, Consumer Lending.

As Executive Director of Consumer Lending, some of Brown’s responsibilities will include ensuring the efficiency, effectiveness, and control of operations while assisting with the credit union’s goals and strategies.

“With Alaska USA’s growth comes the need for executives with leadership qualities that can carry us forward,” said Scott Hansen, Chief Lending Officer. “Chris Brown’s entire work history has not only been exemplary but has demonstrated his ability to tackle increased responsibilities head-on.”

Brown is an accomplished leader with more than twenty-five years of industry experience, including twelve years with Ford Motor Credit Company. He has been employed with Alaska USA since 2017, most recently as Senior Vice President, Special Credits.
