Alaska Railroad Promotes Real Estate Director

The Alaska Railroad Corporation (ARRC) promoted Kristen Gratrix to Real Estate Director, overseeing approximately 36,000 acres that generate approximately one-eighth of the corporation’s annual revenue.

Gratrix has served as Manager of Real Estate Contracts at ARRC since 2015. Prior to joining ARRC, Gratrix was a Right-of-Way Agent/Property Manager with the Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities. Before that, she spent seven years as a Supervising Senior Real Estate Specialist supporting the Federal Aviation Administration’s Alaska Region.

Gratrix grew up in Anchorage and earned a bachelor’s degree in criminology from Southern Oregon University. She has worked in real estate for more than twenty years.
