AAA Honors Sophie Station Suites for Cleanliness and Condition

May 4, 2020 | Tourism

Sophie Station Suites, located in Fairbanks, has been awarded The American Automobile Association’s (AAA) 2020 Best Of Housekeeping Award.

During this unprecedented time operating during a global crisis, this distinction is important validation for guests and employees.

AAA is a federation of motor clubs throughout North America. It is a privately held, non-profit, national member association and service organization with over 58 million members in the United States and Canada. Best Of Housekeeping award winners are among the top 25 percent of all 27,000 AAA Inspected & Approved hotels. Recipients receive the highest possible cleanliness and condition scores.

“Now more than ever, we are exceptionally proud of our Housekeeping Department and every member of our Housekeeping Team for consistently delivering on their high standards for cleanliness,” said Bonni Brooks, general manager, Sophie Station Suites. “Being recognized by AAA with the Best of Housekeeping Award is an honor that affirms the appreciation we all have for outstanding performance, teamwork and guest-wellness.”

To be considered, properties must:

  • Undergo yearly unannounced on-site inspections by AAA professional inspectors.
  • Demonstrate housekeeping excellence for two consecutive inspections and be free of AAA member complaints.
