Made in Alaska Manufacturer of the Year Award Now Accepting Nominations

The Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development (DCCED) is happy to announce the nomination period for the 2020 Made in Alaska (MIA) Manufacturer of the Year Award is now open!

This award recognizes one MIA business that demonstrates the ability to overcome challenges, grow their business, innovate, be a leader in the community, and collaborate with other businesses. The nomination period is open until 5 pm on Friday, April 23, 2021 and self-nominations are welcome. To nominate your favorite business, please visit the Made in Alaska Manufacturer of the Year webpage at commerce.alaska.gov/web/dcra/MadeInAlaska/ManufactureroftheYear.

“It’s imperative we acknowledge the hardworking Alaskans who have found innovative ways to grow their businesses despite the unprecedented economic challenges they have faced this last year,” says Commissioner Julie Anderson with the Alaska Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development. “I’m excited that our team is reviving this award and I encourage all Alaskans to nominate their favorite Made in Alaska business!”
