Civil engineering, surveying, and environmental firm R&M Consultants promoted three employees into new roles.

Mikey Auza

Mikey Auza becomes Project Biller, after previously serving as an Accounting Coordinator during three years at R&M. His experience includes maintaining project budgets and information, asset management, data entry, logistics, procurement, and report auditing. Auza holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Colorado State University. He enjoys snowboarding, biking, fishing, and exploring singletrack trails in the Chugach Mountains, and he named his dog Coast after CoasT Pizza in Girdwood.

“This promotion is an exciting opportunity to take on new responsibilities and continue learning,” says Auza. “I’m truly looking forward to collaborating with project managers and clients, supporting their project needs, and playing a meaningful role in helping projects run smoothly and successfully.”

Bryant Wright

Bryant Wright is promoted to Senior Planner, three years after joining R&M. In this role, Wright leads complex planning efforts and supports community engagement on projects such as the Fairbanks Area Surface Transportation Metropolitan Transportation Plan Update, Fairbanks North Star Borough Comprehensive Plan, Anchorage Metropolitan Area Transportation Solutions, the Minnesota Drive and I/L Streets Corridor Plan, and the statewide travel demand model updates. Wright is also leading several recreation studies for hydroelectric projects in Southeast and Western Alaska. Wright earned a bachelor’s degree in art history and studio art from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, and he holds a master’s degree in natural resources management from UAF. With eleven years of experience in natural resources planning, he is a certified park and recreation professional and a member of the American Planning Association.

“I’m honored to step into this new role and continue supporting Alaskan communities,” says Wright. “Planning is about shaping the future, and I’m excited to be part of that process.”
