AMC Engineers

AMC Engineers—a firm specializing in mechanical and electrical systems, energy audits, and planning—named four Associates at its Anchorage and Bellingham, Washington offices.

Matt Olson has been with AMC since 2006 and is now a Senior Mechanical Engineer. Olson earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from St. Cloud State University and is a licensed professional engineer in Alaska. Most of his career has been spent designing complex mechanical systems for healthcare facilities, and he received his Certified Healthcare Constructor certification in 2020. Olson has given formal presentations at local and national conferences on compounding pharmacy mechanical systems design. His ability to effectively manage projects and mentor staff can be attributed to being a hands-on leader, his creativity, and his ability to think on his feet.
