New President of The Tatitlek Corporation

A former village corporation president has worked his way back up to top leadership. The Tatitlek Corporation (TTC) promoted Executive Vice President Dick Hobbs to become its new President.
In his previous position, Hobbs oversaw day-to-day operations and business development efforts, and now he is responsible for TTC’s strategic priorities and outcomes as established by the board of directors.
Prior to joining TTC, Hobbs was President and CEO of Afognak Native Corporation and its wholly owned subsidiary Alutiiq, LLC from 2006 to 2014. He joined the TTC Executive Management Team in 2018, and the board of the Prince William Sound village corporation credits him with contributing to operational growth, customer-focused performance, and continued commitment to shareholder value.

Hobbs is a graduate of the US Naval Academy and served eight years in the US Navy. In 1996, he joined Chugach Alaska Corporation, where he was responsible for business development, contract negotiations, and operational support for government service operations and maintenance contracts.
Hobbs joined Afognak village corporation in 2000 and founded Alutiiq International Solutions, followed in 2007 by founding Alutiiq Business Services.
Hobbs and his wife of thirty-six years, Andy, have four adult sons and four grandchildren.
