Founded in 1968, Drake Construction built a reputation for delivering high-quality projects in Western Alaska, including airports, roads, water and sewer systems, and marine infrastructure. Together, NANA and the Drake Construction team offer a seamless, full-service contracting solution from early-stage planning through turnkey execution.

“Joining NANA opens the door to new opportunities for our team and the communities we serve,” says Toby Drake, president of Drake Construction. “With NANA’s resources and shared values, we’re better positioned than ever to take on complex projects that matter. We’re proud to continue our legacy of building in the region with even greater impact.”

NANA says the acquisition enhances the Kotzebue-based Alaska Native regional corporation’s ability to serve energy, commercial, natural resources, and federal markets. The corporation says it also underscores a commitment to diversification, long-term sustainability, and community-driven economic development while reinforcing its long-term commitment to infrastructure development across the region.
