Aleut Real Estate Launches Tayal Brokerage

A subsidiary of the Alaska Native corporation for the Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands region is launching its own real estate brokerage. Headquartered in Anchorage, Tayal Brokerage is led by a shareholder of The Aleut Corporation and The Atxam Corporation, the village corporation for Atka Island.
Mike Jenks is the broker-in-charge of Tayal Brokerage. He also serves as general manager of Aleut Real Estate (ARE), the regional corporation’s property investment and management arm. Under ARE, Tayal Brokerage offers consulting and investment strategy, serving clients across Alaska with a particular focus on the Anchorage area and Matanuska-Susitna Borough.
Expanding Services, Boosting Value for Shareholders
The name “Tayal,” meaning “to buy” in Unangam Tunuu, reflects dedication to facilitating meaningful, success-driven transactions.

Jenks’ background includes service as a US Marine Corps combat engineer, an MBA graduate, and more than a decade of experience in management, human resources, and organizational development. Jenks has been a real estate investor since 2009 and licensed Realtor since 2013. His commitments to increasing shareholder value and dedication to Alaska’s commercial real estate landscape shape Tayal’s approach to client-centered solutions while fostering community growth.
