The Great Alaska Aviation Gathering

The first weekend in May every year, Alaskans gather to celebrate aviation and plan for the upcoming flying season by attending the largest free aviation event in the nation. The mission: to celebrate Alaska aviation and spark an interest in the industry from the public, specifically young adults in a career or positive relationship with aviation. This is the 26th year going strong that Alaska Airmen’s Association has taken efforts to protect, preserve, and promote general aviation in Alaska and beyond! Airplane activities and demos will be going on all day, with a free concert by Hope Social Club at 6:30 pm and Klondike Mike’s Beer Garden open after 5 pm.
