Homer Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Center is launching a new event this year, the Homer HarborFest and Boat Show, held at the Deep Water Dock. Set against the stunning backdrop of Kachemak Bay, HarborFest will transform Homer’s deep-water dock into a glowing coastal celebration of art, music, and maritime culture. Attendees can enjoy live music, a boat show, culinary competitions, local vendors, and interactive art experiences. Also brought into the spotlight are local fishermen and the heart of Homer’s culture: fresh, locally caught seafood. From raw and grilled oysters from Alaska shellfish farms to salmon tastings and live chef demos, attendees will get a taste of what makes the coastal town special.
Tickets are $35, but children under 12 can join the fun for free.
