The Downtown Summer Solstice Festival is a daylong celebration featuring a variety of entertainment, including live music by four bands, one DJ, and multiple dance performances on three different stages. The event includes free family activities, more than seventy arts and craft vendors, food trucks, three beer gardens, vintage cars, aerialists, a kids’ zone, a climbing wall, a bounce house, a bucking salmon, a photo booth, a three-on-three basketball tournament, and more. A special appearance by Molly of Denali is planned, and music by Hussy Hicks, Ashley Young, and Soul Society of Alaska is also planned.
