The 3rd Annual Alaska Homestead Expo and Marketplace brings together Alaskans who want to garden, raise animals, learn traditional skills, live more sustainably, and build practical skills for their families and homesteads.

The keynote speakers are nationally recognized educators Josh and Carolyn Thomas of Homesteading Family. Dozens of Alaskan instructors will be sharing their local wisdom. The event includes engaging workshops, community gatherings, onsite food trucks, and a curated homestead marketplace.

The marketplace, a two-day shopping experience featuring more than 150 vendors from across Alaska, will take place Friday, May 22 and Saturday, May 23, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The marketplace will include wellness products, handmade cutting boards and woodcraft, local artwork and handcrafted goods, fresh baked goods, plants and garden starts, homestead tools and supplies, small businesses serving rural and self-reliant living, and more. This is an opportunity to support Alaska makers, growers, and small businesses, all in one place.
