For the second consecutive year, Alaska Airlines is hosting Aviation Day in Anchorage at its hangar at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport. The free event aims to inspire aviation dreams in young people. Aviation Day provides an opportunity for young adults to learn about the various paths in the aviation industry, as well as educational paths to a career. It’s open to children between the ages of 11 and 20.

Parking is not available at the Alaska Airlines Hangar, so attendees are encouraged to park at the Ted Stevens International Airport snow dump parking lot off Lake Hood. Signage will direct traffic to the Lake Hood Drive location, and shuttle will carry attendees to the hangar.
