LeeAnn Garrick Joins Cook Inlet Tribal Council as COO
Cook Inlet Tribal Council, Inc. (CITC) announced the recruitment and appointment of its new Chief Operating Officer, LeeAnn Cooper Garrick of Anchorage. Garrick brings more than fifteen years of leadership experience managing operational units and large-scale programs to her new role.
Prior to joining CITC, Garrick served the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium as vice president of administrative services at the Alaska Native Medical Center. Her role of overseeing campus administrative/development services—including facilities, safety, security, and emergency preparedness—has equipped Garrick with exceptional leadership skills and the ability to manage complex operations while implementing critical strategic plans.

Garrick will be integral in designing innovative new service capacity for CITC and helping to envision a future where Alaska Native people not only survive, but also thrive.
“With her unique lens, LeeAnn will help us identify and execute strategies that benefit our participants through increasingly more accessible, responsive and effective programs,” said CITC President and CEO Gloria O’Neill. “She will be instrumental in the next phase of CITC’s evolution and overall organizational growth as we build toward a thriving future for Our People.”
Garrick spent her early childhood in Petersburg before moving to Eagle River. She is a CIRI shareholder and member of the Ninilchik Native Association and the Kenaitze Indian Tribe. Garrick completed her undergraduate degree and two master’s degrees with the University of Alaska Anchorage.
