A subsidiary of the Alaska Native corporation for the Interior region has a new General Manager. Doyon, Limited named its operations director, Zach Dunlap, to take over as GM of Fairweather, the logistics support, medical services, and weather data company that Doyon acquired in 2023. Vern Johnson, who had managed the company since January, retains his role as president of Fairweather.
Dunlap, a Doyon shareholder, brings more than nineteen years of experience as operations director at Doyon.
“This transition reflects the strength of the leadership talent we have within the Doyon Family of Companies,” says Doyon Senior Vice President and COO Tanya Kaquatosh. “Over the past nineteen years, Zach has built a deep understanding of our operations, developed strong relationships across our organization, and played an important role in supporting Fairweather’s success. His strategic mindset, operational expertise, and commitment to our values make him exceptionally well-positioned to lead Fairweather into its next chapter of growth. We are excited to see him take on this new role.”
Dunlap holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from UAA with a minor in Alaska Native business management, and he earned an MBA and Alaska Native Executive Leadership graduate certificate from Alaska Pacific University. He was previously a board member of the Alaska Native Professional Association.
