Anchorage Downtown Partnership is pleased to announce the hiring of their new Executive Director, Amanda Moser.

Amanda comes to Anchorage Downtown Partnership having served as Communications Director for the Office of the Governor where she focused on the development and implementation of long-term strategy and messaging for priority initiatives. Previously, Amanda was appointed Deputy Municipal Clerk for the Municipality of Anchorage. In that capacity, she managed Municipal Elections and collaborated with a team of stakeholders to lead Anchorage’s transition to Vote by Mail.

Amanda brings with her enthusiastic community engagement, currently serving as a producer for Parlor in the Round, a local singer-songwriter showcase and she recently served on the board for Alaska Common Ground. In 2015, she was recognized as one of Anchorage’s Top 40 Under 40.

The Anchorage Downtown Partnership Board of Directors facilitated a nation-wide search attracting applicants from across the United States. They were please to find the most qualified candidate right here in Anchorage.

Amanda brings new energy and a collaborative style to our mission of a clean, safe and vital downtown,” said Holly Spoth-Torres, president of the Anchorage Downtown Partnership Board of Directors.

Amanda begins her role as Executive Director on April 29 and will lead Anchorage Downtown Partnership and the downtown community forward with vision, leadership, and community building for years to come.
