First National Bank Alaska hired Jonathan Wilson as Mortgage Lending Director and Vice President. In that role, Wilson leads mortgage lending activities for the century-old, locally owned bank.

Wilson brings more than fifteen years of executive-level financial and mortgage experience. He was previously a vice president at Liberty Bank and Trust Company in New Orleans. He is credited with creating multiple customer service programs, and he has extensive experience in loan production, operations, systems administration, compliance, accounting, servicing, and product and business development.

Wilson holds a bachelor’s degree in political and economic philosophy from Wheeling University in West Virginia. He also completed the Louisiana Banker Association leadership school. Recently, Wilson earned an MBA at Rice University’s Jones Graduate School of Business.

“We are thrilled to welcome Jonathan to our team of mortgage experts,” says First National’s senior executive officer and chief banking officer Ryan Strong. “His dedication to community enrichment, customer service, and helping individuals and families obtain homeownership will be invaluable to all the communities we serve.”
