The newest branch of Northrim Bank opened in Kodiak. The location on Mill Bay Road, near the Kodiak Walmart store, includes services from Northrim’s subsidiary, Residential Mortgage.

Nineteenth Branch

“We are pleased to continue our expansion throughout Alaska with our nineteenth branch. We have been part of the Kodiak community for the past few years with our Loan Production office, and we are eager to meet the needs of the community through our new full-service branch,” says Northrim Bank President Mike Huston.

The Kodiak Financial Center is led by Lending Branch Manager Mark Anderson, who has been with Northrim since 2020 and has more than twenty-five years of experience in the financial industry. The Residential Mortgage office is run by Loan Originator Carrie Morton, a long-time Kodiak resident.

The financial center held a ribbon cutting ceremony on February 23 in partnership with the Kodiak Chamber of Commerce. Huston also announced another civic engagement in the form of a contribution to the Brother Francis Shelter Kodiak. “We believe in supporting our neighbors in need and are fortunate to be able to help with a contribution to help the community’s most vulnerable,” Huston says.

The Kodiak Financial Center is open Monday through Friday and features a drive-up window.
