Advanced Supply Chain Intl. Wins $12.4M Contract for Federal Logistics in Alaska
ASCI manages warehouses statewide but mostly on the North Slope.

A subsidiary of Anchorage-based Advanced Supply Chain International (ASCI) won a contract to provide logistics service support for federal agencies, both civilian and military, in Alaska. The US General Services Administration awarded ASCI Federal Services a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery/Definite Quantity (IDIQ) contract worth approximately $12.4 million.
First Federal Foray
ASCI has been providing supply chain and asset management consulting and services to commercial and government customers since 1999, but this is the company’s first federal contract.

Through this contract, ASCI is responsible for total supply chain solutions from sourcing, procurement, warehousing, arranging transportation, and delivery of office supplies, tools and hardware, houseware, furniture, and cleaning products to military and civilian federal customers in and around Alaska.

ASCI is using a 10,000-square-foot primary warehouse in Anchorage as the headquarters for this contract, for inventory storage, and for processing inbound and outbound shipments. ASCI’s proprietary software SmartTracker is part of the service and acts as a vendor e-portal to provide customers with up-to-date stock levels as well as order shipment and delivery status updates.
The single-award contract includes a one-year base period of performance with four additional one-year option periods.
