Two Professional Hires for MTA

MTA, the Palmer-based telecom, added two new professionals to its management ranks.

Elias Rojas joined MTA as Marketing Manager for Commercial Solutions. In his new role, Rojas focuses on marketing and business development for MTA’s array of enterprise and wholesale solutions, expanding MTA’s footprint across the state. A seasoned marketing professional with experience in multiple industries, Rojas comes to MTA from Alaska Pacific University, where he served as director of marketing and communications. Rojas has a master’s degree in business administration from Alaska Pacific University and a bachelor’s degree in international business from San Diego State University.

Steve Brockman

MTA hired Steve Brockman as its Commercial Solutions Analyst. In his new role, he is helping MTA to expand commercial solutions business in adjacent markets and government programs. Brockman was previously with Copper Valley Telephone, where he served as revenues assurance administrator for seven years and business analyst for the last three. Brockman earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing analytics from Liberty University. His service in the US Air Force from 1978 to 1982 brought him to Alaska.

Land animals attract visitors to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center (AWCC) near Portage, from the elk, deer, muskox, moose, and wood bison to the bears, lynx, and porcupines. Situated at the head of Turnagain Arm as it is, AWCC also looks toward the marine habitat.
