Aurora Sky Aviation Hangar Ready for Business at Palmer Airport

Aurora Sky announced the completion of its hangar complex at the heart of Palmer Airport (PAAQ).

The 12,000-square-foot hangar provides a state-of-the-art environment with energy-efficient in-floor heating throughout and the newest LED lighting system.

The hangar has a 80 foot wide Schweiss bifold door with 22 foot height clearance. It is equipped and engineered to support a monorail hoist system to lift aircraft up to 5 tons.

The facility is located near the Flight Service Station on a 1.1 acre lot with ample parking and over 15,000 sq ft of apron space. The building includes 460 square feet of office space equipped with phone and high-speed internet, kitchenette, restroom, and shower.

“The value is in the Valley. Palmer is an excellent alternative to Anchorage where hangar space is extremely limited and prices are high,” says Aurora Sky owner Terry Cosgrove. “The Palmer airport is only a forty minute drive from Anchorage and it is a full service airport with a 6,000 foot paved main runway, instrument approaches, and ATC services. Aurora Sky is excited to be part of this up-and-coming aviation expansion. Our facility is ideally suited for an aircraft maintenance facility or air service company looking for space.”
