Alaska Business Top 49ers: “Meanwhile in Corporateville…”

Alaska Business has celebrated Alaska’s Top 49ers since 1985. There are multiple ways to measure success, but one that’s pretty standard in any industry is if the business is making money. So while all of the Alaska Business Top 49ers provide quality products and services, create job opportunities, and support their communities, annually in our October issue we rank them based on gross revenue. The 49ers span Alaska’s major business sectors, including Alaska Native, transportation, oil and gas, finance, construction, and retail.

We will be celebrating these business at our annual Top 49ers Luncheon, this year taking place on September 27 at the Anchorage Marriott Downtown, where we will be joined by representatives and executives from Alaska’s top companies.

For 2019, Alaska Business is proud to announce Alaska Resource Education as our Top 49ers nonprofit partner. A portion of the proceeds from the Top 49ers Luncheon will be donated to Alaska Resource Education, which has been igniting and inspiring young minds about Alaska’s natural resources since 1982. Alaska Resource Education has built its rich curriculum on a solid foundation of educational materials that give the students of today the answers they’ll need for the resource questions of tomorrow.
