As Alaska’s largest petroleum wholesaler, Crowley Fuels provides the energy that powers homes, businesses, transportation and economic growth across the state. Since 1953, we have safely and dependably supplied quality petroleum products to more than 280 communities, including many of Alaska’s most remote locations.
Supported by more than 350 Alaskans and a statewide network of 16 petroleum terminals with 31 million gallons of storage capacity, we distribute diesel, heating fuel, propane, gasoline, aviation fuels, marine fuels and packaged petroleum products throughout Alaska. Our transportation network includes seven tugboats, 10 barges, an articulated tug-barge (ATB), more than 140 delivery trucks, and 60-plus trailers that travel more than 3 million miles annually.

Reducing Environmental Impact: We’re reducing our environmental impact through innovation. Delivering LNG maritime and supply solutions supports customers and thriving communities. We’re implementing new technologies that enable trucks and terminals to operate more efficiently.

In 2024, we enhanced risk oversight by strengthening cybersecurity and compliance, and Crowley assessed materiality issues across our stakeholders. Since 2017, Crowley Fuels has provided free passive carbon monoxide detectors to pilots as part of our commitment to aviation safety. To date, more than 2,000 detectors have been distributed throughout Alaska’s aviation community.
