UAF School of Management to Waive Application Fees

Apr 2, 2019 | Education, News

The University of Alaska Fairbanks School of Management will pay the $50 undergraduate and $75 graduate UAF college application fees for all applicants to its affiliated degree programs. This offer, effective immediately, will extend into the foreseeable future.

Mark Herrmann, the School of Management’s dean, noted that application fees can present a sizable expense for students who apply to multiple colleges. He does not want to see that financial burden placed on potential School of Management students.

For the fall 2018 semester, the school elected to pay the fee for students applying to its bachelor’s degree programs in applied management, security and emergency management, and sport and recreation business, as well as its master’s degree program in security and disaster management. This policy has now been expanded to cover all degrees within the school’s accounting and finance, applied management, business administration, homeland security and emergency management, and sport and recreation business programs, including graduate degrees and online degrees. A full list of applicable degrees can be found online at https://www.uaf.edu/som/degrees.
