HUBZone is an SBA program for small companies that operate and employ people in Historically Under-utilized Business Zones (HUBZones). The HUBZone program helps small businesses in certain urban and rural areas gain access to federal contacts. The US federal government’s goal is to award at least 3 percent of all federal contracting dollars to HUBZone-certified small businesses each year.
