Chamber Academy – Alternative Funding for Employer-Sponsored Health Plans

Alternative funding (aka self funding) is an alternative to fully insured plans for employer-sponsored health plans. Designed to give more flexibility and cost-saving to groups that are struggling with the increasing costs for fully insured employers.

Marshall will go over the basics of an employer-sponsored health plan, what it consists of, and what options employers have when offering a benefits plan. He will then present what a Level-Funded Health plan is, and how employers can effectively manage their plan.
