2023 Alaska Food and Farm Festival

The Alaska Food Policy Council (AFPC), Alaska Farm Bureau, and the Western Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education invite you to take part in its Alaska Food and Farm Festival being held both in-person and virtually, November 10 to 12. The Alaska Food Policy Council’s 7th sesquiannual Alaska Food Festival and Conference will merge with the Alaska Farm Bureau’s third Alaska Farm Convention and Tradeshow with the support of Western Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education. This year’s event takes the best of each event and combines them into the: Alaska Food and Farm Festival.

The goals for the festival are to:

1. increase awareness of Alaska food issues among the general population;
2. provide training, resources, and networking opportunities to increase involvement in local food issues by community members and decision-makers; and
3. increase connections and build community between the public, Alaska food businesses, non-governmental organizations, governmental entities, Tribal entities, and others to support local economic development and innovative solutions.
